Who Should I Pair Up

OK another breeding season is here and I have been dragging my feet deciding who to put with who. The last 2 years my super salmon female has had great litters with a high orange normal. This year I want to put her with one of two males and I cannot decide how to pair these up.

Option 1: Super Salmon Female with 3 year old albino male
Option2 : Super Salmon Female with 3.5 year old salmon male

Option 1: Big Normal 4 year old female with proven high orange male(he is proven 2 years in a row)
Option2 : Big Normal 4 year old female with whatever male does not get paired with the Super Salmon Female and give the proven sire a break this year since I would rather not get a litter of normals.

My dilema is should I go for the DH Sunglows with the Super Salmon - Albino breeding or a litter of nice Salmons from the super salmon to salmon breeding? My thought s are the salmons will be nicer from the all salmon pairing and dh sunglows are more common now and maybe i can buy one of those? I want to get away from salmon to normal pairings and get some really nice salmons. I am leaning toward the super salmon to salmon breeding.

Feedback appreciated as I need to pair them this weekend.

You make a good point. But also consider that het albinos are very popular as well and don't sell for much more than normals. Go with what you want to produce. Idon't really think that you can go wrong either way though. Good luck with what ever you decideto do.

Thanks for the feedback. I think I will go with the Super Salmon to Albino pairing for the DH Sunglows. I will put the salmon male in with the normal girl for a split litter of normals and salmons. The salmon male needs the experience as a breeder so next season he can breed to one of my other salmon girls who should be old enough next fall.
