Normally I wouldn't put a male on a second female, but this year I have.
I've decide to put Muzik on his daughter. He just finished with Najet and is ignoring her. Obviouly he's one of those "typical males. LOL. He's a proven Het for Albino and she's a Possible Het for Albino. BTW Jazz is the one that had those glowy eyes as a baby. I have a good feeling about this breeding. :)
Anyway I put them together this morning. Prior to putting Muzik in I had my yearling Albino male in there. He wasn't trying to breed her, but he did seem to stimulate her. She's starting to show signs of a pending pre-ovulation. Muzik seems to think she smells pretty good too.
I took these pictures a few minutes ago.

BTW I REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY........ Want this female to prove out as a Het.

I hope she proves out for you too. Looks as though those two would make some beautiful babies, not to mention gorgeous albinos.
I do have to say that I'm jealous though. My pair is just happily cuddling in the water bowl, and here you are posting pics of a possible second breeding. Looking at my male though and comparing him to yours, I think they have the same body build, so maybe my male is just taking his time and spending more time romancing. Who knows.
Good luck to you. :)

Thanks,
I'll post updates as I have them. Hopefully I'll be posting pictures of Albinos from her. :)
With your pair, since they live together, you might want to seperate them for a couple of weeks. Then when you put them back together they might smell different to each other. She might show some breeding behavior and that would spur his interest more.
The thing that gets my males going is when the females whip their tails and smear urates around the cage.
BTW it's still early in the season. Some people haven't even put their boas together yet. So, your boas might not be ready yet.
This is the first time I've ever had a female ovulate this early. In fact, I was doubting what I was seeing, until she ovulated.

Well, I would separate them, but the Hoggs I got from Jeff are in my spare cage. So I don't even have room to put the male any place else. Otherwise, believe me, I would have done it. Especially now is perfect since they're both in shed, the female has been through the blue phase already so I'm just waiting for her to actually shed and the male is just now getting blue eyes. I'd separate them until after they both shed then put them back together, but alas, the little Hoggs are happily settled in my spare cage.

I have to say that I am a bit excited for you. I put my male in with the female two weeks ago. Nothing has happened yet which is the same as last year. I am hoping that this year will be different though. Tomorrow I am going to seperate them and try again in a few weeks. Back in March I dropped my male in to a cage with a different female right before going to work. When I came home in the middle of the night this is how I found them. It lasted for about 24 hours and then nothing more took place. He was quite a bit bigger than her so I don't think that she took to him very well. So I know that he knows what to do and I am hoping that my big female will get him going this year.

Thanks Bernie,
I'm pretty jazzed too. :)
Don't worry if your males aren't interested yet. It's still very early in the season.
The last time I bred my boas they didn't ovulate until after the 1st of the year. My males weren't showing interest until late Nov.
Anyway I have an update on this pair, so here it is.
It's been almost 48 hours since I put them together.
Apparently she was ready and he was willing.
I wasn't too embarrassed this time.
This time I was hoping to see this.

After seeing this today, I feel much better about putting him in with her. :)

Mine are still snuggling in the water. LOL.
Nice pics though. I could look at snake pictures all day, breeding or not. Heck, I think that's why I have snakes of my own because my friends and cousins always chased me home after a few hours of staring at theirs. :P
Good luck to you two.
