After I first posted a couple pictures of my new "Tribal Boa", I had one person let me know they had a similar looking critter of their own and that this was a female. Mine is a male. Tormented was I until I was able to reach an agreement to get their little girl here into the Boa Black Hole. An agreement was reached and the little girl arrived this morning. She is two years old and about 5' long. Here she is:

Now she is mine all mine I tell you!!!! All MINE!!!!

Now to breed her boy friend this year to find out if what he has going on is genetic or not. I need to see if the Tribal Boa is genetic first and then if so, if some of the babies come out looking like their Daddy. She has similarities to him, but is not exactly the same. Who knows what is or is not genetic about these kids? Here he is, "The Tribal Boa":

Time will tell...

I would like to publicly thank the good people who allowed me to obtain these two animals from completely unrelated bloodlines! I am very happy to have them and look forward to seeing what we might be fortunate to make with them. Nicole & Joe and Liz & Rob, that you all very much!

What do you think? Does anyone else this this will prove genetic?

Jeff,
So What's The Story On These 2 Boas? Do You Know The History On Where They Came From Before The Mopst Recent Owners Had Them?

Hey How big is that male? Because My hypo is around that size and I wanna breed him this year but Im wondering if he too small.
He is right there at 3ft or a few inches shorter!
Can you tell me what is the smallest you can breed a male.

Barely pushing 3ft, I might Hold of on breeding Him till the end of the season, and just load him up on rats and hope he grows bigger by then. or do you think he is already big enough? He is over 18months of age.
So let me know.
Thanks
