I have early 2004 female boa she is just about 5 foot 7-10 pound. When i pick her up july 2005 she was the size of a new born. The breeder told me he like to keep them small. Her sisiter the keeper out of the litter was 5 time her size she was about 3 1/2 foot maybe bigger.I have had this girl for a long time but she is only 5 foot she eats 2 large rats but doesnt get any bigger.Do you guy think might be a drawf becuase she wasnt feed right from when she was a baby. Do you guy think it would be safe to breed a animal this small or would just keep her as a pet..

thanks joe

In my experience age is the most important factor, if you breed her when she is 3 she should be fine but she will most probably have a smaller litter with smaller babys.

i've had boas go a few years growing slowly, and then take off in the space of three months or so with big growth spurts...

but i agree, age is more important than size. health too... ;)
