Something strange in the neighborhood:

So I am fortunate to get this little fella in Daytona a little over a month ago and have been feeding him about once a week. Today I pull open his drawer to check him out, he is opaque. This is him normally:

Another shot of his special "skills":

And a final view of his possible hidden treasures:

So today I had quite a surprise when I looked at him. Believe me when I say these photos do not show the odd transition I see in this fellow from his sides to his top. I have seen this strange contrast in animals before that have those "Calico" looking sides but that was no real surprise. Look at this:

A weirdity at least and perhaps a positive omen of more bazaarities to come... Who knows?

Any prognostications?

With all the weirdity and bazaarities going on at your place Jeff, there is no telling what that little fella holds in store for you!

Great photo of his blue sides!:D

Cool looking serpent you have there. Are the pics of him while he's in the 'blue' phase of shedding? Looks like what my male goes through when he sheds too. His sides will be really milky looking one day then the next day he's back to a normal looking shed with blue eyes. My female has done it once and it was the first month I introduced the male to her which was back in December last year maybe a week before x-mas, but she hasn't done it since then.

Are the side views showing blue scales too? Like paradox? Or maybe I'm looking at the wrong things. No matter though, he's still one awesome looking snake.
