Some of the pictures I have taken show her much darker and others show her much lighter. I wanted to know what I am doing wrong. Some are in my home those are much darker and the ones outside are much lighter. What do I do? New to digital cameras. I have a Kodak easy share 4.0 mega pixel. I have it set on a lower resalution but the pictures are too large to put on this web site unless I crop most of the picture off. Do I need a new camera Now? Thanks, Shan

no you need a new one have a very nice camera. It take a bit of work to learn how to take good pictures. Lighting is very important in how the pictures are going to look. For inside shots I use a desk lamp with those GE reveal bulbs. Really helps bring out the color. It just takes a lot of messing around to figure out what works.
As for the picture size. The software should have an option somewhere to resize the image. If you can't find it you can always use Paint to resize the image. In Paint's menu bar select image and then strech/skew... then adjust the strech options by an equal % for each side. That will resize the image.
Good luck with it.
