I had him out for cage cleaning and when I placed him on my situp bench he got in this spectacular position... all on his own. BUT, of course, by the time I grab the camera he has moved into a totally new position. Oh well... I snapped some shots anyway.
I find it very difficult to portray exactly how much this guy "glows" in person via pictures. It really is jaw dropping whenever I open his tub. It's not something he has always had - he seems to get more and more yellow with age. I know there are many people that prefer well refined albinos to sunglows but, its these characteristics, glowy yellow undertone w/contrasty saddles, that I think are fairly unique to the hypo albino combination, and are why I like them so much.

Also - here is the shot I used for white balance calibration. The card in the shot is the trick. It is a neutral grey that allows me to calibrate the white balance to a perfect nuetral balance... eliminating any color casts that alters coloration. The process is simple - I take a picture with the card in the frame, I then take all my desired photos ... Later in photoshop (I use a different program actually but you get the point) I click on the card and it calibrates the white balance. I then apply that same white balance to all the rest of the shots (that dont have the card in the frame). It's a quick easy step that helps my photos greatly. Check out www.whibal.com if you are interesting. It is without a doubt one of the primary photography tools, and at $30 or so its an absolute no brainer IMO.
