So have this female pastel that has been bred by my hypo for several months and now the male is on my hogg and really loving it, but my female pastel has not ovulated yet and she is really active and does this weird body movements like she is moving in place and this is especially apparent in that last 1/3 of her body. Is this a sign she is about to ovulate she is at temp gunned at 76F with 56% humidity and I am slowly bringing up her temps does any one have any advice I am new to this. Also the male has been reintroduced to her and there was no real interest it seems the male has the Hogg on the mind. I have aquired these snakes over the past few months so they are fairly new. The male is all over the Hogg and she just sits there all coiled up I have not observed any hooking up but there is a whole lotting of courting behavior. I would be up for any advice that is good advice. I ordered the two boaphile movies and look forward to getting them but there not here yet and I am anxious. Thanks alot for reading, Adam

If your pastel female is no longer receptive to a male, and she has not swelled yet, then she may have to wait until next season to have another go with a male.

I know this is not the news you wanted to hear. Perhaps you could try another male, if you have one, to see if he shows any interest in your pastel girl.
