Ive been wanting to do some comparison shots of all three of these guys ever since I got them. Jeez was it a pain in the butt too. Three angry salmons wanting to take off. My initial idea was to place them on a pedestal that I used yesterday to take pictures of just one... yeah right. The only possible way for me to do it was to leave them in the tub and just keep them from escaping... and this was only possible with two. Mr.Clean started getting fiesty (as he normally does) so I went inside and put him away quickly. So most of the shots are of just the two. There were thin layers of cirus (sp?) clouds out that would occasionally filter the sunlight, taking away from the vibrancy of the picture... but most shots came out good.

The three salmons are:

"Mr.Clean" - Possible Super-Salmon - KK Grade

"Goldie" - Possible Super-Salmon - K Grade

"Manglow" - Possible Super-Salmon - A Grade

All three of them. Mr.Clean is on the lower right hand corner, Goldie on the far left and Manglow up top.

All three again.

Body Color Comparison - Goldie is just plain orange while Manglow is light and creamy.

More top body comparison and further up towards their heads:

This was a bad angle (made them appear dark) but tail shot:

A few stand-alone shots... Mr.Clean

Goldie

This should help give you all a good idea of the wide variation of looks within the salmon phase hypos. It also should help you understand exactly what you get with an A, K, or KK grade.

Enjoy :)

Thanks.

I cant wait to make some really really orange boas with Goldie and this guy not pictured above (my 03 salmon "Nefarion").  I am really looking forward to this litter.

Orange side color comparison.  Goldie on top, Nefarion on the bottom:

This is further down his body and at a different and better angle. In many shots I get of him he looks much darker than he actually is. This picture is very accurate though.
