I HATE the suspense of waiting for partuition. The begining of the breeding season is exciting... especially when everything goes well, the male jumps in and does his breeding thing, the female ovulates on que and the POS happens as planned... Then comes the wait.

Am I the only person who feels like 105 days (+/- 10) is a Long LONG time? That is the one thing I like about egg layers... some mid term gratification... 30-60 days after ovulation, there's egss... and then you can check on the status and viability every day if you like. With boas, it seems like it takes forever!

Jeff, Denny, some of you others that produce a ton of boas every year... How do you stand it?!?!?

*sigh*

I don't mind the wait any more. I used to look forward to it soooo much that I think my years went by much faster. I'm trying to slow the whole experience down a little bit so I look forward to it but try not to rush too much and try not to look forward too many years. Time will pass and I want it to go by as slowly as possible now that I am starting to get up there a bit...

Relax Donnie. They'll be here when they are ready...

Just a tip from an "old guy".

Do not wish the time away, your babies will come soon enough Donnie.
If you find yourself wishing the time away just look at a photo of Jeff and realize that you too will be THAT old soon enough........RELAX and enjoy the ride.
