They would produce normal looking offspring. The gene causing albinism is a different gene in each line, so you can breed them, you just can't produce albinos by breeding them.

Not to mention, you would absolutely ruin the market with possible hets.

Wow! Het for both would make potential pairings a real crapshoot!

And what if you hit on both? What would a double albino look like? Considering Kahl's and Sharp's look different, what would a Kahl & Sharp double albino look like? (Other than a market crasher).

You are going to have to explain how he is going to ruin the market with double het sharp/kahl strain albinos. All he would be doing is be introducing new blood into the albino market with option of producing either strain. Do you think they killed the hets off that were produced a long time ago when they first bred Kahl's to Sharp's to see if they were compatible? Because the market should have crashed a long time ago if they didn't kill them by your statement above. As I already said, please explain. =)

I'm not exactly sure what the double homozygous form would look like, but most likely just another yellow snake that can produce either of the albinos. Breeding two different albinos together isn't going to crash a market. Asking rediculously high prices for animals that are being produced in the numbers of hundreds to even thousands of animals every year will crash a market (ie. the Ball Python market is the perfect example).

Maybe I am misinformed, but I don't believe anyone has ever done this trail breeding. If someone has, who exactly would that be, and what exactly was the outcome?

A breeding between the two strains had to of happened somewhere in time for the two Albinos to be declared incompatible otherwise we have all been believing in a theory!
