Wicked 2 tone Coral female

This one just shed. She has an unusual 2 tone color, her back is yellow and her sides are like burnt orange and pink. These pics show a bit of the color.

Yup..

She has so much side color, it would be hard to tell if she didn't have the yellow back.

I bet it will not be long before you sell her. The only bad thing about corals and even some of the light albinos is that it is impossible to capture their true color on camera. I can tell she has some amazing color on her sides but in person I know she is even better looking.

No doubt there.. If I use the flash the pics look over exposed, or like the boa is glowing...LOL... I can't quite capture the pinks no matter what lighting I use..

Please excuse my ignorance, but how are the Corals "made"?

that is one beautiful girl!!! too bad i have absolutely no way of affording her right now... but just wait until i've got some nice deep red F2 salmons in a few years... then i'll be buying! :'(

Corals are made by breeding high colored albino lineage. Coral is a polygenic trait the babies get the color because the parent had it, or came from it. It is not like a recessive trait more like how pastels work. Except pastel het albinos are pastel to boot on top of being het albino, where het albinos that are from coral blood are harder to tell from a normal het albino. They all get better as you breed for better color.
