View Full Version : One of the joys of boa ownership.........

When I got this female from Rob she was a little hissy. No striking involved........Just hissed a little when touched. (She was in "gratious non compliance". LOL!) After owning her for a while, and letting her know the hissing wasn't going to stop the handling sessions, she made a huge "leap" in character last night. When I opened her sweater box she actually popped her head out and came twords me. I feel she is now enjoying being out. And, best of all......We have bonded. She is now truely one of the family. :) It's true I want to own every snake out there. But for me, the real joy is the relationships that are created.
Here's some pics of her. Her name's Merry.

She is so fine!
I love the five little spots between her saddles.
Is she a touchy feeder?

Persuading them to be friends can be a lot of fun!
