When I got this female from Rob she was a little hissy. No striking involved........Just hissed a little when touched. (She was in "gratious non compliance". LOL!) After owning her for a while, and letting her know the hissing wasn't going to stop the handling sessions, she made a huge "leap" in character last night. When I opened her sweater box she actually popped her head out and came twords me. I feel she is now enjoying being out. And, best of all......We have bonded. She is now truely one of the family. :) It's true I want to own every snake out there. But for me, the real joy is the relationships that are created.
Here's some pics of her. Her name's Merry.
