View Full Version : Lokken Pastel, het for anery~Freshly shed~
This girl arrived at last, healthy and oh so pretty.
I've fallen hard!
During her second year I'm going to buy a smokin' Ghost or het to pair her up with.
She shed last night and is showing more red. She has this strange blue stripe kinda thing going on too. The pics don't pick it up very well.

Sorry about the lighting. I have to take them in a dark room, away from the cats.. Some day, when I have a larger, nasty boa, I'm going to let the cats have a sniff... A good strike and miss from a biggun keeps the kitties away!l

Thanks for looking!
I just want to clarify.. I would NEVER let one of my boas actually get a hold of one of our cats.
The first time it happened was on accident. The cat was 19 years old and the boa never had a chance! The cat jumped up and backwards, right behind the strike. It was an amazing thing to see. I think a boa would have to catch a cat by suprise to get a hold of it, and cats are just too cautious with the unknown.. After that, the cat stayed away..

well, a cat would make a nice meal, keep it fed for a month or so...lol. very nice, the colors of those pastels are amazing...

Please keep posting pics of her. It's great to see all these babies grow!

I love John's pastels and especially that one! The tails are so read on those...

This is true. However, I don't think a boa could get a hold of a cat under normal circumstances. A boas strike is fast, but a cat is not only wicked fast, but an amazing acrobat.

Fortunately for me! Every time I look in there ( if she's not hiding ) she takes my breath away. I can't help but think of the possibilities. A dh ghost.. how about a nice scarlet hypo male for her? :D!

Thanks, Jeff has some nice ones up.

Thanks. I'll keep posting pics. I might hold out for awhile though and wait for more color to come in.

Thankya. She's better looking than a lot of Surinam boas I've seen. I bet if Jeff had had that particular litter, none would have been sold. Well, maybe 2 of 'em in 2007! LOL!
