Fleet Week Here In Nyc

well i didnt have work today so i thought i would sleep in...buuuuuuuuut...a really load rumble wakes me from bed....i look out my window on the 10th floor and to my suprise i see 2 large military cargo planes and 6 incredibly loud "blue angels" fighter jets....my building is 20 stories high....these guys must have been flying about 10 stories above my roof...very very low and loud...i felt like i could have reached out and touched them....the angels must have circled around mannhattan about 6-7 times but unfortunatly by the time i got dressed and up to my roof the angels were no longer flying..(must have ran out of fuel...lol)...here are some pics of the cargo planes and a far off shot of the angels plus some pic of my incredible veiw...lol

here in the distance you can see the blue angels...all 8 planes where in this formation constantly until the angels broke off from them...they tore the city up today...i was like a kid in a candy store....i love fighter jets

the former resting grounds of the world trade center....you can see tower 7 just recently finished off to the right(i did some construction in that tower)...the void in the middle of the pic is were the towers used to be

hope you enjoyed...if the angels come back tommorow ill be ready and waiting to snap some pics...i may also have pics of the actual destroyers and battleships since i plan on going down there to see em....

Thats pretty cool. (except that you didn't get to sleep :)). I live in tucson and we have Davis Monthan Air Force Base here. Its fun to see their training and when there getting ready for a show. But destroyers and battleships! I don't see those here and if I did then something would be very wrong lol. Hmm. big city... I can't even imagine living there. Never been to New York. It would be nice to go someday.
