i got these from "the reptile ranch" in central california. they were listed as "a decent pair of hogg isl. boas" but think they are much more than decent (of course everytrhing is subject to preference). these are my first ever hogg isl. boas. hope you enjoy.
this my female. i believe you call this blue phase? (i feel like a retard) she has a little pink and orange in there too, but it's hard to see here.

here is the male. almost a complete inversion of the female coloration wise. lots of orange and pink with small amounts of blue (?)

and below is the female.
i find these to be the most interesting of the island variety of boa. according to the seller, these are completely unrelated blood lines. i have no reason to doubt that they are not, just a stating such. i am really looking forward to breeding these boas.
here is the link if you want to check it out:

gus at rio bravo is the only other i know who deals with these in the u.s.a., other than hermann stoeckel in germany.
thanks for looking :) - RD

I love the hog in the first picture he look a lot like mine did when he was a baby. Now he is amazing........he has an almost pastel green shade with grey and orange........you will be very happy with them. The female is beautiful...........WOW.
As for the other two (Corn Island boas) they are amazing and one I plan on adding to my collection next year.
Keep us posted on how they turn out.

thanks everyone. i have never seen a hogg like that before, only one w/ a little of the blue-ish coloring, kinda half-n-half like (?) so i jumped at the chance to get her when i saw her. she is only a yearling, approx. 30" long, and much thicker than her male counterpart whos is just about the same length, give or take an inch.
i love their orange/blue contrasts. naturally complimentary colors. even in art ..lol.. ok...
anyway, i'll definitely keep y'all posted. thanks again :)
