nice dumerils. how big are yours? my female is only about 4ft long, or 1.22 meters in length/ yours look very fat and healthy and seem close to 6ft long. mine is nice and stocky too, just not very long. thanks.

the smallest female is somewhere around 5,5 ft (1,7m) and the bigger female is over 6,5 ft. (1,9m) They are a little fat but not obese because im breeding them this year. They gave babies in 2004 en I hope again in 2006.

wow they look great!! Ever have any issues feeding them in the same enclosure? Beautiful animals :'(

I can feed the dumerils together without problems, offcourse we always make sure there is someone watching over them!!
We never leave them alone during feeding. If I feed my constrictors together, the biggest female always eats her rat and then she quickly tries to steal the rat from her cagemate,
she is always hungry, almost like a container. These "fights" are really dangerous for the smaller female, so we always make sure we seperate them.

The dumerils never had these "fights" over food, I think because they know who is the dominant one and who is not, and they already live together for multiple years.
