Hi does any one know any good websites I can get some Information/Caresheets on Argentine Boa's. Or maybe some one could give me some information from their experiences in owning their Argentine Boa.

Thanks :)

Hi there.
I am raising two juvenile Argies and have lots of info I've learned by both high and low roads; for care sheets proper I would recommend the Sedgwick Co. Zoo page. Here's the address:

Good luck!

I have had a pair of Argentine Boas for the last 5 years and have found them to be very easey to look after and found if you keep them the same as common Boas you cant go too wrong. But be ready to be bitten there temper can be abit like my wifes!

Hi,
As with most animals they can be different as nite and day, I had a 2 y/o argentine for a few months, she was the sweetest boa I've owned to date, Hung like a limp rag over my shoulders, begged to get out of the cage, was occasinally a picky eater. Never bit me, she was raised by a woman who held he every day. I hear the babies are very aggresive ( proably just scared your going to eat them) only the really aggresive animals survive in the wild ,the sweet one are toast in a week.
Argie's aren't s popular as the other boa's so they are less breeders and poeple keeping them as adults , from what I hear they can get as large as the BCC's.
MAny of the captive bred animals that are fed thawed rodents never develope that really aggresive feeding response.
I ve seen a tremendous varity of colors and patterns in argie's its best if you can see the parents.
The one I kept for a few months was a beautiful choclate dark brown. Most I ve see are a muddled looking browish black with touches of white patterns marble like.
The colorful babies may change color as they age.
