i love the rainbows, but they always get ugly as large adults, they get dull and lose the nice orange and red. it usually turns into a brown. has anyone experienced something contrary to this

Not too long ago, I got in a nice adult. While his background color is a reddish brown, he has the brightest orange cresants I have ever seen in a BRB! IMO. one of the most beautiful snakes I have! :-* ;D cwm1.gif

I don't have any now, but I used to breed BRB's until the female died but she was almost 25 I think, after that I sold the male and I just havn't got back into them.

I just purchased a yearling BRB from a reputable pet store. It is c.b. and was in the pet store for a while because it was on hold more than a few times. :o I finally told them to sell it to me because no one ever seemed to come and pick her up while on hold those few times. They sold it to me, and I'm very happy with the little guy. :'( What a beautiful snake! Lots of orange highlights...almost looks like someone painted her.
BTW...could anyone in BRB land tell me where the best chat site would be for BRB's? I've raised them before, so I don't need general info, I just want to chat with other BRB enthusiasts. :P

I know this is kinda long since you guys started this thread, but I have a 1.1 pair of Colombian RB and the male is almost 5 years old ( he was around 3 when I got him and I have had him for right around 2 years now) and he is a pretty maroon with almost no pattern at all (faded or normal) and I have a female that is 4 1/2 years old who I got when she was 2 1/2 years old and she is the same maroon only she has an insane amount of white and quite a bit of pattern showing up.
