I just fell in love with my next aquistition, a Dumeril's Boa. There is a local breeder here in Indiana, so I don't have to ship and I found this site trying to find more info on them.
Funnny thing though, the idiots at the pet store had them classified as Pythons?!
Correct me if I am wrong but they are a true Boa, right???

Thanks for the welcome and I am finding out more about these fascinating creatures every day.
The Dumeril's isn't coming home until I know everything there is to know about her and her accomodations are perfect.
She's also going to have a neighbor, a Columbian Red-tail female, they can stare at each other through the glass of their vivariums- LOL!
This website is a wealth of information. Thanks to all for their willingness to help and to post their experiences. I'm sure I will be a better "Mom" to my charges thanks in part to all of you. :'(
