i have a half suriname/half columbian that has no widows peaks, and is starting to turn a salmon-pinkish color. How often are surinames found without widows peaks?

I wouldnt say that it is uncommon to find them without widow peaks. Some have them, and some dont..
thats a nice looking cross you have there :'(
the majority DO have peaks,... to various degrees. some have blocky rounded peaks, some have big thin monster peaks, some have little baby peaks that barely come out of the saddle. but the majority have a shape in the saddles you can reasily identify as a 'peak'.
your boa is very nice, just be responsible with it, as it is a cross. by responsible i mean A. prefferably dont breed it. B. if you do breed it, label the babies accuratley, they will never be suris, or colombians. they will need to accuraltly be labled 25%/75% crosses, and further generations accuratley labled as well.
im not flamming or bashing the cross. i dont agree with them, but since you have one and im sure love it as much as anyone loves any boa, just be responsible, and should you ever breed it, represent the babies accuratley.
