Do rats make nice pets?? Can you eat them? What do they taste like? How many can one cat eat in a sitting? How many rats can one huge boa eat in one sitting? Do boas appreciate the attention you give them? Do they like being petted? Do you consider them intelligent? I'm just being wacky, don't mind me, I have an eccentric son a bit like his mother, only I'm into bengal cats instead. I can get almost as interested in them as he is in boas. Talk to you'll later, hope you'll enjoy the forum and interracting!

Rats make great pets! That's why I have been trying to get Harold to come over and work with these rats. I heard of one woman that takes her rat with her everywhere she goes. Even shopping at Target! Not sure I like rats that much but they are very cool!!!
There is a Blue Dumbo rat in the center of this picture and a Baldy Rat over his right shoulder. Aren't they cute!

Those rats really are cute, especially the bald one, poor thing. He reminds me of somebody I know who used to have hair many years ago.
Hmmm, fuzzy, yummy rats on pizza taste good?? To each his own, I guess, I've never tried it. Jeff would probably like his with ketchup. He eats everything with lots and lots of ketchup! When I see the faces of those sweet little rats, I wouldn't want to eat them, I'd want to make a pet out of him. My cat would enjoy chasing him around the house and hopefully would not hurt him because he's almost as big as she is. It would be a sight to see!

Hey Mom, Getting in on the action too, huh? That
son/brother of ours. Hey Morti, you have a strange familiarity about yourself. Do you and Jeff go to the same barber?

I dunno... I go to a guy named Gilette. He's a little short, but a sharp guy!
-Morti, Clutching his own stomache after that pun,
Hey since boas don't digest the hair of there pray do's that make a hairless rat better feeder's..? cwm15.gif
My last girlfriend had hairless rat's and the only reason that she had them is to feed to her snakes... cwm27.gif

Erica, you might want to verify this with more knowlegable sources, but I have read that snakes need the hair as roughage to aid in digestion and passing poo. I have no proof whatsoever of this statement.
-Morti, the proofless one.

Haha... I say poo a lot! It's one of my favorite words! And its the version of what hair makes it easier for your snake to do that you can even say infront of a 5 yearold.
All that I have herd about the hair is that it is not somthing that they diegest much of... I like the word poo as well
