ALL im asking for is,, 1 large blanket box rack for my males,,and 2or3 4ft cages for females,,not to much to ask is it?

Dont feel alone man, I still live with my parents and they wont let me have more than 2 snakes. I have to wait till I either graduate from college or move out to get more. If i move in with my girlfriend she says I can have 5 reptiles so that is a little better. Dont say it, I know I am whipped. cwm8.gif

well i guess i dont got it as bad as i thought LOL,,,im aloud and already have my nice boa collection 8 boas total,4males4females,,.,my only problem is there set ups,,i house the females in used aqariums i get for like 5-10bux,,and the males in rubbermaid tubs,,,its starting to look crapy with all these tnaks and tubs laying around,,,id even be happy with just ONE BLANKET BOX RACK,,,for my males,,,,since my females caging dont look to bad,
its only 339 i will hopefully have it by next year ::crosses finger:::,,
so bascilly my main problem is caging,

8) Just get more snakes and dont tell anyone about them..

My first snakes were water snakes I smuggled into my bedroom.. My parents said "no snakes".. but me being the persistant and constant annoyance I'm capable of being... they gave in.

Dont get yourself in trouble, but if the people restricting your snake 'in put' dont pay much attention to your snakes, add one or two, and act like nothing happened.

I got my first retic by telling my dad it wouldnt get much over 5 feet... (i was a bad kid) ;D

Thankfully, my parents supported me in what I did, and soon I had free range of anything with scales.

8) ...and another thing, I need some more cages too.

Im going to start breeding rats to become a little more "self reliant" as far as feeding my boas goes. Anyone reading this, do you know where I can get one of those "rat racks" for cheap? Freedom breeders has some good ones, but for what they charge I could feed a boa for a year or two so they're a little out of the question.. I was thinking maybe a laboratory..

Shoot if your looking for a rack like that the easiest adn cheapest way to do it is to just biuld it yourself( sorry jeff..not trying to kill a sale for you *L*) Just figure it how much space you need for wahtever size container your going to use and just go to your local Building supply place and get yourself some 2x4's usually they can cut them for you...a lil plywood and a sheet of Tuf R insulation board...a few nails or screws and a rheostat...everything would probally run you about $50 bucks at the most...Im still covered in sawdust where i just got finished building a big arboreal box system (5 separate cages) and four larger ones underneath for the Boas...got room now to house 16 snakes now and very little space taken up and everything was jsut barey over 150 bucks...and these were all pretty spiffy as well...I just put myself together a sweater box rack and everything(including the heat tape) ran about $75 ...its pretty simple and really cost effective...ecsepcially on a tight budget...If you want to give it a try and need some help just let me know and Ill do what I can for ya...

yeah it does at first i had to strugle to get the one CA i have but then talked my mom into letting me get 2 more snakes got one of the 2 like a month ago a female Hypo/Salmon female named cinnamon and now saving to get a male albino only need 620 more dollars then im going to the show in july talk with you later oh and could you show or tell me the plans for the cages you built thanks for your time Brandon N.

Yeah being young has its disadvantages!! I just bought another Common Boa on Sunday while my parents are in Mexico and they're coming home tomorrow!! I hope they don't notice!!
If they do, they'll probably look something like this  :o or  cwm24.gif.
