Local Boa owners group?

I was wondering.  Are there any people who belong to a snake owners club in their area?  Does something like that even exist?  If there is such a thing, please write back and let me know.  If not, I thought it would be nice to start something like that.  It would not be something restricted to Boa owners only.  I think it would be fun to start something like this for snake owners.  I live in southeastern NY and would love to begin the process.  Anyone else interested?  E-mail me and let me know.

i dont think there are any spricifically for boas!!! but i would sure as hell like to join up or help start one!!!
i am also in ny, yonkers ny to be exact.

i am a member of the wildlife conservation society as well as a few online clubs and forums. there is also the new york herpetological society, www.nyhs.org
i met the president and he helped me out on a few occasions- they meet once a month and there are a few perks too! lots of contacts for snakes- boas and others.
