Herp Shows

How does one go about finding where are the nearest snake shows and exhibitions? Around here, the only way people come in contact with snakes is with a shovel in their hands. I can't blame them, really. This IS the land of the water-moccasin. But I would dearly love to see a herp show and wouldn't mind traveling to get to it. Thanks!

I found my first herp show by going in Yahoo and typing in reptile shows. I also know that some of the people that belong to this group participate in shows becausethey are dealers of something. Look in the members directory on this board and check out some of their web sites. In some cases they list where their next show is. Good luck.

I found all mine in reptile's magazine and kingsnake.com
