This may sound like a stupid question, but what exactly is an anerythristic boa (I think I spelled it right)? ???

An anerytheristic boa is a boa that lacks all red pigment.
I attached a pic of an anerytheristic so you can see the difference between a normal and an anerytheristic. :)

What happens when you mate an anery and a snake that has extra red.
The anerytheristic gene is recessive so if you were to breed an anery to a normal snake..no matter how much red was in it you would end up with normal offspring that were all het for anerytheristic....thats all....

axanthic is lacking all yellow. this occurs in balls and this is why the ball python snow doesnt fade out and yellow as it ages while the snow boa does.
