A couple people have made comments and talked to me about this.
They are having problems.....and it seem I am too.
So here is the survey.

1. who is your rodent supplier
2. How long have you been using them?
3. How is your snake poop? (watery waxy)

I don't buy my rodents I breed my own, it's the only way to go, My snakes are healthy and big, It seems to be working for me. If they are your own rodents you know exactly what kind of nutrition your snakes are eating. I feed my rodents veggies and quality dog food, I also vary all of my snakes diet (rats, chickens, rabbits, and mice) I don't think your snakes stool is going to look the same every time depending on how much it ate, drank, and how much it basked. thats just my opinion.

3. Poop generally is poop but my poop, I mean my Boas poop is firm, robust, laden with rat hair, usually in the corner and most importantly it smells like fresh roses or sometimes brownies. Not really it smells like Boa poop but then again... "Poop is Poop". Feel free to quote me on that too. s9.gif

sas supply tried a few times over the years, but finally comiitted when i tested all the others!

good food, good prices!

so far its been over 1 yr since i stayed

poop is huge! so far, never mushy or waxy- knock on poop!

Good point Jeff. I also breed my own rodents, I just don't trust anyone else with the quality of food for my boids especially not pet stores.

i get mine from a local pet store. it's a mom and pop kind of thing.
i have been using them for 1.5 years, and have never had a problem. all stools look normal.
