I have had my columbian boa for alittle over a year. Every time I try to feed him a f/t rat he wont eat it it has to be live pre-killed i hope someone can help me out on this subject . :-/

Pre killed and frozen thawed are both dead rats, So I don't see how the boa would know the difference. Maybe your rats aren't defrosted enough, I defrost mine right on top of the boas enclosure in a ziplock untill it is warm not just defrosted. they all seem to take them pretty fast. Are you just tossing the prey in or are you using tongs to spark their intrest?

I hold them by the tails with my hands until he strikes them same as if i pre-kill one for him to eat

I don't know what to tell you if he won't take them when you are moveing them in front of him. I do have one recomendation, Get some tongs, geting bit when your boa thinks it is going to eat is the worst kind of bite to get!
