what is the difference....

i'm looking to buy either a suriname or guyanan in the next couple of weeks and i was wondering if there was any difference between the two beside a little color differnce. the only thing that i know is the guyanan gets a little bigger. also what do i look for in buying one of these snakes besides the normal healthy signs.
