go to kingsnake you can go through the breeder's list or check the classified's. when you find a snake you want go to fauna's B.O.I. and check out the seller just remember depending on where you live it may be to cold to ship now

HI,
Winter and Summer at the peaks can be nerve racking when ordering young snakes. The boa breeder can put a heat pack or a cool pack in the box that will warm or cool the animal for a couple days. Unless you live in an extremly vold climate they shoudl be fine
I have purchased two boa's from C. english and have been extremly pleased :Pwith the animals. Both came during the winter months and arrived in excelent shape
Most pet stores frequently sell mostly common boa's ::) that tend to loose color as they age both of my snakes are improving with age.
I have seen numerous horror stories about IBD,Mites,RI, and more from animals that have been in a dirty cages that are never cleaned in a pet store. Many pet store boa's are not caged at the right temps and humidty which can shut down their immune systems causing RI, Many reptile diseases take months to surface after you buy the animal.
yes it may cost you 24.oo to ship to your home a new baby snake but the quality, color, health and general value may be well worth the extra 24.00 and heck that first vet visit with a sick petstore boa can be much more than that.
One thing I usally do is try to be home the day the boa arrives usally the next am, this works for the boa's so they don't set on the porch chillin and or warming up in that sun.
Hey I'll use any excuse to be off...
doug,
And finally here's what you can get on line,, try and find a reptile like this in a local pet store, and the price was the same as most regular boa's locally,, plus that shipping

Your better of buying from Jeff or CLay..

oH yea I almost forgot, I didn't care what my first snake looked like when I started keeping boa's, now I am more critical,,, your gonna be happier with the animal that looks exceptional instead of trading up every time you see something a little better at the pet store.. I haven't seen any snakes as nice as mine at the local petstore,, the local breeders at the pet stores are working with animals from the petstore's stock so the quality is mute, Jeff and CLay have an eye for that special snake baby and will only hold back what they consider the very best to be breeding stock for the next generation.. SOme of the animals they are selling are from several attempts to improve color and quality of the animals.. there are many good boa breeders online always ask for references , I trust people I know from my own experiences and reccomendations of others .. KNow your reptile breeder..
Hehehe I expect a royality check doug ;D
