I don't visit this section of the forum often, but I fugured I would get a good answer here. I have a male Red Tail boa, that some tell me is a pastel. I don't have any pictures yet but will try and get some good ones soon. To describe him he is a tan on his back and is a peach in color running laterally down both sides of his body. He has a iridescent shine to him. His mother was said to be a true red tail and the father a Columbian Red Tail. I didn't learn till recently there was a difference. Could anyone help tell me if it could be a pastel without a pic?
