I myself am no expert, but aparently everyone who has seen a snake is. We were barbequing the other day, I had oscar strune about my neck, enjoying some steak and ribs, when this kid from downstairs, well hes like 20, comes up and keeps telling me how he had these rare albino corn snakes when he was younger and how they are so hard to find, and I told him oscar was about to shed. He said oh I know what i'm talking about, it looks to me like she'll shed in about 7-10 days. He said that they get dark, their eyes get cloudy, then the eye caps fall off, and then a week later the skin falls off. I said okay i'll bet you 20$ that she'll shed within 24 hours (she had just gotten out of a deep deep blue stage, man I love the humidity). Anyways within about 12-14 hours, sure enough she had shed and I was a richer man. Complete with eyecaps ON the skin, lol. -sTEVE
