My 4 year old male got 41 babies from a normal Columbian female. Half of the babies have about the same pattern as daddy, the other half looks like mommy. I wonder if I have a genetic jungle male or not?

Anymore on aberrant lines calling a new form a Jungle is a no no.. If it didn't come from the specific line I'd just make up your own name. They look good I'd test a baby male on an unrealted normal female in 18 months, to prove it 1 more time just to be 100% positive. :'(

I was thinking the same Panama. I also want to breed daddy to one or two of his daughters in 3 years.

Keep a few of them and go both ways try for some supers and prove it on a normal, couldn't hurt either way.
BTW 41 is a great litter!

Chriss,
first, I agree to what has been said before .
I remember that last year you bred this male and that none of the babies were striped, so ? You must be asking yourself what's going on ! Me to .
What would be good to know is how many babies are showing abberancies and get pic of the more, the less of the abbarant babies and example of the average abbarant.

Abberancies, but nice . Its not Swedish line jungle but you never know what you may throw in breeding back . Maybe a new morph, thats the fun of the whole grand experiment . Very nice clutch size congrats on that .
