I got this girl from a reptile store in Moreno Valley, Ca. I was told she is a pastel and I believed it until I got on this forum. She is nothing compared to many I have seen here. I am not sure if I was taken. Tell me what you think. Shannon

You're joking....right? I would definitely call that girl a pastel....and a darn nice one at that. A bunch of color does not a pastel make.

I suggest you read Jeff's treatise (read....really long post) on what defines a Pastel Boa. You will be feeling MUCH better about your girl......I guarantee it!

I'm sorry I wasn't joking. I have seen many pastels that explode with color on this forum.  I really wasn't sure if she was. But thank you for letting me know. Shannon
I read the post and I know now that she is. I always thought it was the color of the pastels. Not the reduction of black. I SURE DO HAVE A LOTTTTTTTTTT TO LEARN. Thank You so much. It was very interesting reading. Shannon

Thanks Guys, I feel real stupid. I always thought a pastle was a snake exploding with color. I did learn from Jeffs treatise. THANK YOU JEFF I really enjoyed it. I do ask a lot of dumb questions and I want to thank all of you for not making me feel stupid. I have been reading about Boas for a couple of years and finally got one. So I am very new to them, I still have lots to learn. So forgive me if I pick at your brains for knowledge ;D.LOL Shannon
