Our little guy Bobo, perhaps about two feet long has been on a diet of 2 frozen fuzzies (sounds like a cocktail) per week since we brought him home in February. He doesn't eat them immediately. He takes his time but eventually finishes the meal. The last couple of times he only ate 1 of the two fuzzies. Should I be concerned or is he just a little eater? My son thinks Bob should not get dessert because he didn't finish his meal. I tried to explain to my son that there is a difference between him not finishing his dinner and Bobo not finishing his dinner. He just didn't get it but he is only 4 years old. I would appreciate feedback, no pun intended. LOL. That's my 4 y/o, Ryan's pic. Bobo's owner.

Thanks,
Bob

Hi Bob,
I wouldn't be to concerned about him only eating one fuzzy. At least he is eating! Maybe try feeding him one fuzzy every five days and see how that works. I feed my '01 babies(I'm assuming Bobo is an '01 baby) 1 small fuzzy  every five days and they are doing great! Just a few thoughts on what works for me! :)

Thanks Erich.

i wanted to see if we could begin feeding him hopper size mice but the pet store was just too busy tonight. Though I've had only five boas in my life, I've never come across one like this baby. Though he spends a good deal of his time in his hideout (rock), he often comes to the front of the tank and seemingly waits for me to take him out. When we have to put him back in the tank, he clings to me as to let me know he'd rather hang out with us. He is docile and only wants to wander over to me and wrap around my wrist and lay there. I've had dogs that weren't as loyal or friendly. LOL. Bobo was a great find for us. Thanks for the advice about his feeding sked. I will still try a hopper tomorrow and see what happens.

Best regards,
Bob

Yes, just as my post below suggests, as long as you don't over heat it you should have not problems offering larger meals.
