Can boas urinate and defacate while in the latter stages of a shed cycle, after the eyes clear? ???I and my wife just recieved a pair of neonate anerys last week and the male that we thought was in a shed( which should have shed by now, his eyes have been clear since we received him, but his skin is kinda loose and saggy) just poo'd in his water bowl last night :P. Now we are wondering if he is in a shed or not. To date we have not had a boa of ours U or D after they went opaque. I was wondering if this was because they just couldn't or because they generally prefer to hold it til after they shed.
Disgusting I know, but we are starting to become concerned with the little fella. How long should we wait to see if he sheds or not? ??? We fed him one meal of a large pinkie mouse the day after he got here, and he took it, but with a little reluctance at first. We have been keeping a big bowl of water in his cage, and have been freshening it up with slightly warm water at least once a day, and have soaked him in some warm water a few times. We have seen him drink a bunch! He's so skinny we would like to feed him again soon but do not want to interrupt his cycle again if he is in one. Is there anything else I can do? ???
Can someone please help me wiht any of my questions? ???
