He should have been a short stop for a major league baseball team.
I feed him frozen/thawed rats. He is a yearling and he eats rat pups or freshly weened rats. His favorite spot in the cage is under the newspaper with his head sticking out so he can see what's going on. The last few times I have fed him, I have simply opened the cage door, tossed in the rat somewhere in his vacinity and he has picked it up off the first bounce. No joke. The thing doesn't even touch the cage floor again before he's got it in his mouth and wrapped up.
I keep thinking he'll bring it back to me and drop it at my feet, expecting me to pick it up and throw it again.
