boa won"t eat

at one time she was abused had mouth rot ,left in unsanitary tank,still has a scar on nose .I suspect respitory problems,she stays with her head straight up in the air, I dont believe it's star gazers.she had to have tooth removed due to infection. now she has tooth infection back again .Ive been giving her something called silver for infection. any clues as to what to do ?Ive had her to the vet but to no avail thanks al-b

Well boas with respatory problems don't usly stick there head straight up in the air... just elavated above the rest of the body... star gazing usly comes with a case of ibd if this is the case do not let this snake touch any thing that will touch any other snake at all.. I would have to say it is not a ibd case but it could have been... it may have a respatory problem and this is probley the problem is there is one... Now this snake is not eating have you tryed both fozen and live?
have you tryed to leave the snake alone while eating?
And well all the rest of things that you have to try to get a snake eating first?? If not go to clay site there are some good ideas on that site... www.redtailboas.com There is a care guide on this site and it is down loadable now... it will have a section that will cover this problem...
