Well I seemed to have more fun with the dry ice than the rats, lol. Anyways the second I defrosted the small rat and hung it in front of him he snapped at it. Multiple times. But the second he got a good hold he let go. It was like he was fighting it.... again... Well As I was wiggling it around. I noticed that he seemed to be going blue right before my eyes. GRRR. Ya know how you can tell their going blue from the back easier in the early stages? That's what I saw. Well According to my records he wont eat during shed cycles. Well I guess I have to wait another 2 weeks. -sTEVE

Did you get rat pups. I would try this next time you go to feed him. get you an old shoe box, poke a couple of holes in it,put some news paper in the bottom. Defrost the rat, get the thin gnice and warm. Put the rat in the box first, then get you snake and put him in there next to the rat. Close the lid and leave it alone for one hour. Then check to see if he ate the rat. If not take the snake out. Then heat the rat up again in hot water. Then repeat the process. If he won't eat after the second try put him away hungrey. let me know how this works for you if you try it.
