I recently bought a boa. When she was sold, I knew what she was and didn't ask what kind of boa. She was just labled as 66% het albino. Since I bought her I have done a ton of research and have learned about the fact that they are true red tails and normal boas. I just wondered if there was an easy way to tell the difference?

she's a colombian 'common' boa. a very nice one too!
nice coloring in the tail, and if she's a 66% het that's great!
not a true red tail, but an excellent common!
good luck proving her out!

great looking little snake. I would say that the snake is most likely a common, although appearances are not always true... another easy way to tell is the price that you paid for the snake, since suri cross het albinos are usually a little more expensive. I hope that little one turns out to be a het for you. Later Randy T.
