New camera. I am trying to get the color right. A Olympus C-8080. The colors are not quite right on most of these. That plus I am having a little trouble getting it to focus properly. I'm working on it. I think this one is better. I want the color accurate and as true to real life as possible. The best pastel shown above, is every bit as intense as the picture shows but the color isn't quite right. She is a bit yellower in the picture above than she actually is. I'm working on it...

Congrats on the new camera, excellent choice. I find the biggest factor regarding color balance is lighting. Outdoors works best for me (although I know its c-c-c-cold up where you are). You also might try playing with manual white balance settings ... once you figure out which white balance setting works best for your scenario .. just stick with that instead of using auto (auto white balance will sometimes sporadicly change even in consistant lighting, depending on the camera). For focus dont forget to press the macro button (looks like a flower).

You are correct Ryan. I am fighting with the white balance. "Auto" stands for, "I'll do anything I please" and definitely not for "Auto" at all. I just can't seem to get it to pull in the reds without twisting it just a little bit yellow...

This one is a Pastel Het for Albino. Not bad she isn't as Yoda might say.

Now in this one, her color isn't quite right. She is redder than this shot belies but the green in the moss looks perfect. Stupid cameras... or maybe it's the stupid operator huh?

Sure do Mr. Davis. One of my Washington girls squirted this little fella out after some relentless breeding by a Hypo last year.

This Hypo came from a TJ bloodline animal. I had obtained TJ from Rob Tudehope many years ago. I bred her with Honest John. One of the nicest Pastel I have had and produced the mother of this animal. Not too bad huh?

My thoughts exactly ShannGo3! I believe we'd have over a years worth of pictures to look at if he tested that new camera on every one of his boas he has. Now that would be SWEEEEEET!!!
