I started a contest for pastels last year and it gathered a lot of attention. and since i love hypos i thought i'd like to see what everybody is working with. you really aren't going to win anything if you got the best hypo (you already won by having it) but you will get everybody to ooo and ahhh over your boa. and we all like that. so lets see what we got. don't hesitate about posting more that one. the more the better. so lets see what you got

her name is ann. probably not the best hypo, but definetly a unique and special one. I picked her up becasue of her freckles. I know that spots are often seen as undesirerable in hypos, but I think when they are this abundent they are kind of cool. Cheers. Brian Logan

I really think that dalmation hypo is wild...........I am with you. When there are that many spots it is really neat looking.

here is boa girl, my biggest female, i aquired from rich ihle in early 04, she is a 03. We really love this girl and she is the first boa I have kept since I was a young boa, there was a 7 or so year gab of boa keeping in my life. enjoy. this post rocks lets keep it going, the varity the hypo gene gives us seems endless.....

Well, I have been trying to get my "White Balance" set correctly but have been unable to do so thus far. My camera kills or diminishes the red making reddish Boas look orangish. Orangish is far more common that reddish. Reddish is what I am trying to achieve in my Boas and the true reddish is what I would like to show. The color of my Boas in my pictures, is never as red as they actually are. Makes for happy customers after they get the Boas but probably fewer customers than I would have if they could see them as they really are. I manipulated this photo to make the color as it truly is on this female. It makes the paper look a little bit pink though. I wish I could get the color right on these guys.
