Feeding

My female red tail boa is is about 2 and is about 3 feet. She is growing really fast. And i like the size she is now. I was wondering if I should start feeding her every month or every 2 weeks. To reduce growth rate.

What, how much, and how often are you feeding now? :'(

I would switch to every other week and watch her for about a month and then go to three watching her for 1 1/2-2 months and then to a month if she is not losing weight or getting longer but thinner and looking poor! You know what I mean? Get a good weight about two weeks after her last meal after she has emptied herself completely and a good and accurate measurement for length and get some pics of her to reference her overall appearance and then recheck them as you go always making sure she has completely emptied herself before weighing again! Good luck! Let us know what you find in a year or earlier if you find that schedule unattainable or something! :'(
