Gorgeous hot! I wouldn't want to be tagged by those fangs. Has your cousin ever tried measuring the fangs?? I know it sounds a little crazy, but would be interesting to get the length.

I just sent him an email asking about the fangs, and some other info on it. I've read before that Gaboon Viper's can grow fangs up to 2"!!! And what's worst is their venom can kill full grown humans in 15 minutes or less. Yikes! I seen his Gaboon last summer, and I didn't want to get too close to it. He also has 2 monacal cobros, and a pakistani black, tons of rattle snakes, only 2 real boas( their babies right now) and various other critters.. His basement is a herp persons dream!

or nightmare....... Yeah, I know the Gaboon Viper and Rhinocerous Viper both have huge fangs. I was just wondering about his viper in particular. I never knew they could kill a human in 15 minutes. That would have to be a maxed out load of venom you would think.

I just got the email with the size of those fangs! 1 1/4 inches!!! I'd never handle a snake with fangs like that, even if it were non-venomous. :'(
