Gee X Isle babies just came!!

These are the only two survivors of the litter :-/ There were 15 slugs I think..... and two live babies. This was from my Gee hypo female X K grade Isle male. It look to me like one is a super hypo and one is co-dom! A perfect 50% litter! :'(

Congrats Doc! I hate to hear about the slugs, but the two survivors serve as a fine example of what might have been....

One looks like a Gee hypo, and one looks like an Isle salmon. Both look great! I wonder if the different strains of hypo line up on the same alleles to truly make supers(homozygous hypos), or if they are in  different locations as the Kahl and Sharp strain albinos do. It is a little harder to pin down being a dominant trait, I think.

You are so corect! I'm keeping both these little ones to see if my guess is right or not! I really wonder if the local variance will affect the genetics??!! We shall see, I'm hoping for dom. :'(
