Ok I have a snake here with a minor respitory infection the only symptom its has is a verry quit weeze. So my questions are: 1 is it contagous to my other snakes? (now before anybody yells at me) I already practice never handling each snake without washing my hands, they eat in different enclosers, I use seperate cleaning stuff for each snake, they are all housed seperate, and different snkaes at different ends of the room. 2 what do I do to clear it up? I have already raised my temp and lowered my humidity in the cage, and cleaned it out. So what is next? I just want to know what I can do and also what Should the vet do? The vets arround here don't know too much about snakes so I want to make sure they treat it the right way! sorry for soo many questions but these are my babies and i always want the best for them

Sounds like you're all set. If it gets bad, a vet will need to give your snake a baytril shot. One every 3 to 4 days or once a week depending on how bad it is. It sounds like you caught it early enough though and all you need to do is keep a close eye on your boa right now. Keep the cage temps higher then normal 85-86 ambient and 95 basking spot. Keep us updated. It may take a couple days for your snake to get better. It doesn't go away over night usually.

It is always best to treat any infection as if it is contagious just to be safe.

If the infection seems to be minor, I'd give the animal a few days of elevated temps and decreased humidity then re-evaluate it's condition.

If, after this period, your boa does not seem to be improving a trip to a vet may be in order. Some antibiotics that your vet may prescribe could be Tylan, or Baytril, or a very effictive newer one called Fortaz.
