handling females when there is a power outage.

I am interested in breeding a couple redtail boas. I was wondering if it would be too dentramental if there was a power outage because of bad weather and the female had to be moved for a few days. She would have to be put in a smaller temporary cage.
What other ideas would anyone have that doesn't incude getting a generator.
