8)  I have some baby makin' projects in the works, and what Im wondering is, what's the proper way to ship them?  Most likely the first batch will be normals (the father's a het for albino if that means anything)....and the ones afterward will have hets and albinos, hopefully.  So even though their's some money in it I dont want to lose, I really really dont want to lose a boa ... What's the proper way to pack them, "insulate" them, pad them etc...  Where do yall get the boxes and 'packing supplies'?  Does anyone in here have a 100% sucess rate as far as not losing any during shipping?    Basicly, to make a long question short... from the time I take that little boa out of the cage, until the time I hand him over to the air line guy, what do I need to do, to make CERTAIN that the boa will be fine? ???

It used to be as simple as puttting the snakes in a pillowcase with lots of shredded newspaper for padding, and then placing the pillowcase in an insulated box. But...now with new shipping regulations, you should check with the shippper you will be using. I understand that now they do not even want you to close the box til they have inspected the contents. Good Luck. Sharon/Boastore
