This is one of my male boas. I dont know how good the pic will be,this will be my first time attempt. I think this boa is a hypo because of all the red especially in the tail. Also this boa is about 3 years old and is only about 3 foot long. It has never refused a meal but dose not want to grow very fast. Don't now why.

Maybe he's just waiting to be introduced to the ladies. With a name like Elvis he has got to be a "Hunka-Hunka burnin love" !

I have a very similar male. Not only do they look alike, but this guy is 2 1/2 years old and 37" long..

I don't know about yours, but mine is a hypo sibling, and hypos tend to stay smaller.

i dont mean to rain on your parade, and dont get me wrong, he is an awesome boa with a great tail, but hypomelanism is a trait defined by a vast reduction of black, not necesarily color. However, he does have some light coloring and is very clean, both traits i look for in my boas.
