My real-deal for-sure Jungle boa - Flash Shots

I was accused of lying in claiming my jungle was purchased (at a jungle price) as a sure jungle.  It was said that I "only payed $750 for my jungle" and it was purchased as a possible jungle.  I just want to be clear that that is wrong.  I would never represent my boa as a jungle if it were deemed only a possible jungle.  It was never thought to be a possible jungle (as suggested).  I have confirmed this through Pete.  

Do you think Pete would have any trouble identifying this boa as a jungle?  Does it look borderline to you?  Sure doesnt to me... he has clear jungle outlines (in both the saddles and the tail) and a clear jungle coloration (both undertone and sudden dorsal/lateral color change).  To me it is laughable to assume Pete would not be able to ID this animal as jungle.

You defined me as a lier and have attempted to downplay the value of one of my boas based on your own either A. Misconceptions or B.Something else!

Ryan, you have a very nice animal, whether it is a Jungle or not. It looks like one to me.

Ed, if you have a beef with Ryan, please try to handle it in a little more professional manner on an open forum, OK?

Hes defenitly a jungle.  Pete sold him to me as defenite jungle and I trust Pete's judgement in distinguishing jungles from non-jungles.  Ed alledges that mine was a possible jungle that Pete suddenly decided was an actual for-sure jungle, I spoke with Pete on the phone today and confirmed that is not true.  Mine was always labeled as a for-sure jungle.

Im not looking to slander anyone in anyway.

Here is a step-by-step play back as I can remember it!
I think the boa was and is a JUNGLE! Don't want anyone mad but the facts are as follows:
Ok... I will start at the top...
I was talking w/Ed around the end of May about these awsome snakes Pete K. has posted on his site. Ed said these were the steals of the year. He talked w/Pete and he said he thought they were JUNGLES but only posted them as possile Jungles on his new site set-up... Didn't want to screw anyone. Ed said he had done hours/days of study and talking w/others and these were JUNGLES!! Period! I myself started looking. Indeed I thought they were JUNGLES! I emailed Pete 6/1/05 ASK HIM! and then I called and left him a message. He called me back the next wk. LOL (he can do this "Pete K.") Anyway, he was on a cell phone and we dicussed the snake in question. He said he initially thought these were JUNGLES but had a doubt. So he posted them as Possible! I asked what I think was the worst question? What made you change your mind? He said "I don't really know?" He went on to say he would call me back when he got to his facility and we would close the deal! Last I heard from him for 2 wks. When I e-mailed him back and he said he remembered my e-mail but not the phone call. He thought I wasn't interested and he subsuquently sold the snake. This is the snake evryone is so upset over...
That is the facts and I have no reason to say any different! Except!!! That JUNGLE (POSSIBLE) or what-ever should be mine at 750 like it was posted on Pete's site until our conversation!!!! The exact snake was removed from the Possible JUNGLE page and I thought he did this b/c of our conversation and I would be the new owner... Enjoy

Sorry ghackney, you are mistaken.  There was a possible jungle boa that looked very similiar to mine.  Mine was never listed in the possible jungle section.  

I spoke with Pete today and asked him about it, his comments were :  "Yours is defenitly and obviously a jungle and always has been. It was never in the possible section. If someone is claiming that they are thinking of a different boa".

Anyone who knows the characterists of jungles can tell you mine is far from borderline.  It is obviously and clearly a jungle.  There would be no reason for Pete to label it as a possible.  He has confirmed that it was never a possible... end of story.  Unless you have a screenshot of the webpage showing my boa under the possible section and/or a screenshot of an email with pete stating the ID number or a picture and saying its a possible, your claims are empty.

Might have the picture at office comp. of the snake in qestion. Think the id # was 012. Yes, I just check the e-mail from Pete and it was #012 if it helps... You need to a grip. All I did was state what I know. Period! YOU HAVE A JUNGLE! PERIOD! No one has question that to my knowledge. But, go easy! Mistakes are made. Breath and open your eyes! People keep snakes for fun and some for $ so be careful of what you say... Could hurt more than the one your bashing...(you)

The ID # of my jungle is #19

I know I have a jungle, period. LoL. But thanks for reiterating that.

You (and Ed) made a mistake and took my jungle for one that was in the possible section. Everyone make mistakes, no biggie. Ive got at least 5 people who frequented the website, plus Peter Kahl, saying it never was. My jungle looks very similiar to one of the three possible jungles that were listed.
